I bought this for our room after our daughter was born. It allows our room to stay dark, except when the light is needed for diaper changes, or getting her positioned correctly to eat in the middle of the night.

When the light is on the stand, there is only a small light on the base that glows so you can easily find it. When lifted off the base, there are 2 levels of brightness, or you can turn it off (handy when I don't need the light anymore, but can't reach the base to replace it.)

I am very happy with this purchase, and will likely give some of these as gifts in the future.

We are delighted with this product. Our 3 year old son is afraid of the dark and this has been very helpful. We like that it has a "regular", "bright", "timer" and "off" settings. He plugs it back in the charger himself in the morning and takes it off the charger before bed at night. We call the night light his "night light buddy". I would have given it 5 stars but it seems like the length of time it stays charged always varies but not enough to cause problems.

Do not purchase this product from this store. I attmepted to purchase the green version. Like other reviewers, I recieved the cheaper, MOBY tyke light WITHOUT the Rechargeable Base. I chose this light because I did not want to have an exposed charging cord. The product I recieved has a much greater potential danger to your child. This item is misrepresented by the seller!!

Got this for my sister when she 1st had her baby. My sister really likes it and says that the brightness level was just right for feeding in the middle of the night :)
