I am 45 and have had problem skin since I was 25. I actually had to take Acutane 2 different times, once in my late 20s and then early 30s and could only keep my skin problems under control with monthly glycolic peels. I am forever trying to slough off skin and this creates difficulty keeping my skin moist as I live in Arizona. This product was a god-send. It has controlled the multiple whiteheads I get around my chin and moisturizes without being greasy. It has also helped to reduce my blackheads on my nose. I LOVE this product. I use it at night to slough off skin and moisturize at the same time. When I get up in the morning my skin is soft & smooth. This was the boost I needed to moisturize without making my acne issue worse. IT IS GREAT! Thank you so much to whoever came up with this formula. Putting it on at night is a treat for my face. It feels and smells like the expensive dept stores moisturizers.
I read about this product in "Real Simple" magazine and their review was on the money. I believe it was the May or June 08 issue. GREAT product for acne suffers.

I highly recommend this facial treatment for anyone in search of a good AHA face cream but specially for those with oil skin or acne prone skin. I use it as a night cream; hydrate my face, leave it soft and radiant without any oily residue. There is nothing worse than an opaque face and this cream brightens mine. It says that is recommended for three to four times a week. I alternate mine with the Clarins Bright Plus HP Repairing Brightening Night Cream, because I live in a place were I'm expose to a lot of sun damage, but that one is heavier in texture. I can tell the difference when I use the Lather AHA facial cream because of the softness and brightness of my skin the next morning.
I find this cream to be a beauty secret well kept. For some reason hasn't reach the popularity it deserved. Maybe its due to the fact that is a smaller company and is commonly find at hotels and airlines. But this product is excellent and actually cheap if you compare its price with the prices these beauty products have.

Like the previous reviewer, I read about this item in Real Simple. I haven't noticed a real improvement in my blackheads, but then I am not diligent about moisturizing, so perhaps it would with more constant use. I did notice that it doesn't aggravate the oiliness at all, that it provides instantly-absorbed moisture and smoothness, and that it feels great with a nice subtle, natural scent.
