The remanufactured coffee grinder was lost in shipping, so the merchant provided a new Cuisinart DCG-12BC.
I only paid for the remanufactured item.
This tool takes 20 seconds to reduce beans down to the preferred grind. The time is tolerable, but the noise level is not, so I put a blanket over/under the grinder during operation. Emptying the grind is very easy.

I just returned my second Cuisinart DCG-12BC Coffee Grinder, there will not be a third one. Both of the grinders lasted less than 6 uses. Each time the grinder failed I was almost done grinding. I did not take time to disassemble the unit but my assumption is that they have a faulty thermal limiter: the unit starts to heat up and the thermal limiter, a safe fuse, pops. Once the internal fuse shorts out it is back to the store or back to the manufacturer. I highly recommend you do not waste your time with this faulty product.

Does a good job grinding and the removable bowl makes it easy to clean. Smaller size isn't great for large quantities, but makes enough for a 12 cup pot. Stainless surface has been easy to clean and fingerprints haven't been a problem. Highly recommended.
