BE CAREFUL, January 19, 2008
This item is a great item that is fun and works out your arms so great that it feels like they will fall off. Although when i bought the item i thought that i was buying the highest end gyro ,Powerball Blue, with speeds of up to 18000rpm and 40lbs resistance. This is simply a cheaper gyro that they applied blue lights to and called the powerball blue since it only has 32-35 lbs resistance and speeds up to 13000rpm. So make sure you know what you are buying because it was a big mistake for me

Awesome small exercise machine, But don't get discouraged, January 5, 2007
Great product
There's no end to the number of activities that involve hand, wrist and arm movements. Golf, typing, boxing, baseball, basket ball, arm wrestling. I box and practice MMA, and I love this thing. It's basically a gyroscope inside a tiny ball, you start it, via the string it comes with, or with your hand (a bit difficult)
After reciving this product I went through many stages with it, I couldn't use it, then I loved it, then I disliked it, and now I love it again. This is because it takes a bit to get used to the movements involved in accelerating the gyroscope, but once you get the hang of it you can really get a good work out for your hand muscles, and your wrist, and also your arm. A full speed dynaflex has to be held to be believed.
However addicting, the string used to start the dynaflex will probably break before you manage to learn how to start it manually. The product comes with a mini CD that has a nice video explaining how to start and use it, and mentions that a manual starter can be purchased (but not available on amazon) But with a little snipping, any shoe lace can be used to start this neat little machine
It's like the nintendo Wii, I broke this machine's string because I was SO addicted to using it

Great workout tool for your hands and arms., August 8, 2007
I bought this item to start training for bowling. It's been a couple of weeks of using the powerball, and still no bowling, but the powerball itself is amazing. My biceps, triceps, pectorals feels as if i've been working out a lot. You can use this while on the computer, altough is not easy to type with only one hand, while walking from work to the parking lot, or while watching tv.
The only thing, is that it's pretty hard to start it up without the attached string. I lost mine and using an adapted shoe lace to start it while i'm able to do it with only a finder or by hand.
I really would recommend getting the speed meter. I bought it later and is really nice and addictive, cause you always try to break your own record. Also you can use it to do comparative plays with friends.
Really recommend this.
