It is a great, easy-to-use home-theater system that features a 5-DVD changer with 1080p up-conversion, EZ-Sync HDAVI control with HDMI connection, and an included Panasonic universal dock for iPod playback and recharging. It is wireless rear-audio ready with an optional SH-FX65 Wireless Kit, and is expandable to multi-room wireless audio with the optional SH-FX85 Wireless Kit. The system comes with 5 wired speakers and 1 wired subwoofer. You can enhance your home theater system with the incredible combination of Panasonic sound technology and 1000 watts of power. Super Surround puts you in the action with lifelike sound from every angle, and a Four-Step Subwoofer Level Control puts you in command with rich sound effects you can hear and feel. The 5 satellite speakers are wall mountable, and the subwoofer has a 6.5-inch driver with a bass-reflex port for that authentic theater-at-home feel.

My husband and I are so pleased with this purchase. For the cost.. it has everything we were looking for and more. The 5-disc DVD player allows us to have both DVDs and Cds in the player ready for watching/listening. I love the fact that I can still listen to FM radio as well as upgrade to XM radio in the future.

My husband loves the fact that he can plug his iPod into the dock, charge it, and play music from it. That was a nice added feature.

The set-up took no time at all. Not complicated.
We are very happy with this puchase & would recommend it to anyone.

First, what I like about this system, which I've had for about two weeks now: the audio quality, on TV, DVDs, and FM radio, is good for such a small, inexpensive system; and the iPod dock is a nice touch.

What doesn't impress me so far is the DVD upconversion. I've tried every possible output setting on several DVDs, and they all come out looking jagged and pixelated on my 61" Samsung DLP. I finally switched back to component cables, and they look better.

So this probably isn't the best choice if you'll be watching a lot of DVDs on a large HDTV. On the other hand, if you just want better sound from your TV shows, or have a smaller set and won't notice the upconversion problems, this is a good buy for the price.

This Panasonic surround sound system is decent for the money. I really like the bose set but this one for the price is great. I found it to be comparable in sleekness and style. I was able to spread the speakers out and make it a real home theater system. The volume and sound quality superceeded my expectations and they are for the most part clear and easy to hear.
Nice work with a nice price...
