Had an old Hunter HEPA filter (> 5 years old) that needed the 30938 and they weren't sold in stores. Low and behold, Amazon had it from a 3rd party company and it was fulfilled by Amazon. Nothing special about the filter, just removed the old one and replaced it; also it came in retail packaging and definitely was new since my old filter wasn't as white. More like dirty gray. Perhaps it was because I hadn't replaced it in 2 years...
