As of this writing, this EP had just one review here on Amazon, of a single star. I couldn't let this go uncorrected. This is the first Rentals recording in several years, and no, it might not sound like the band's most memorable songs, but it is a decent disc. "Life Without a Brain" is a highlight for me, and almost worth the $5 I paid for it. See the band live if you have the chance, you won't be sorry.

If you ever were a fan of The Rentals and their great full length cd's you owe it to yourself to plop down[...] and get their final recordings (or at least I would assume their final recordings). Sure its only 4 songs but its still worth it, Matt and friends did a good job of capturing that sound they found on the first album and reminding us of how good it was.

It's a good start after being gone for so long. If you liked 7 more minutes, you should like this. If the only song by the Rentals you know is "Friends of P", you might want to go get some 90's alternative hits cd. They put on a great show when I saw them in Detroit.
