Product Description

The packaging of the import Starscream is the same other than the new sticker added to the front. From what we can see of Starscream while looking at him inside the package, he appears to be the same as the US release.

UPDATE - This version has a decepticon sticker on the nosecone, and the tips of the vertical tail fins are slightly longer and more pointed. We have had reports of this version being alternately more or less weathered; there doesn't seem to be a rule either way on that note.

Looks great in robot mode, looks great in vehicle mode, and a good challenge for your hand-eye coordination... It's not a toy. It's a work of art. It truly earns the name "Masterpiece". Even if you don't like toys or the Transformers franchise, this is an awesome thing to hold and behold.

As with all Masterpiece Transformers, this isn't something that you can just "figure out" how to transform without reading the instructions. Read the instructions.

I like the colors on this one. It's an excellent compromise between the first MP Starscream (too close to reality and too far removed from the cartoon) and the Wal-Mart version (too cartoony and too far removed from reality). It is rivalled only by Skywarp in terms of coloration.

Best hundred bucks you'll ever spend.

My only complaint was that he came with a piece missing and I didn't really know what to do about that. It's not a big deal, in robot mode the piece is totally superfluous anyway.

Otherwise, it's fun to have Starscream standing next to my 25th Anniversary Optimus Prime. Guess I'm going to have to break down and get Megatron next.

Masterpiece Japanese Version Starscream is awesome; a beautiful, well-designed, engineering marvel. He is a slightly delicate so be careful during transformation. I think that some reviewers got a bum Starscream or they exaggerated about how fragile he is. Overall a fantastic product and a must-have for any hardcore TF collector!
