Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: Diary Girl (Video Game)
This game is really fun, and interesting. I love writing so it is good. Except that I don't like when I make mistakes. . .and when I try to do the wifi connection and it says 'nothing available,' but mistakes can be fixed and I don't want [all my] feelings shared, even with close friends. You can decorate friends, draw pictures with your stylus (or finger), write in a virtual journal, set reminders, play mini-games, create a 'My Girl,' or a you. In the my girl, you can dress her up and choose her hairstyle, eye color, makeup, and more! You can be natural, girly, glamourous, Judy Nails [guitar hero character] Style, tomboyish, or even really. . .weird. I made mine look like me, awesome. What I expected was that you needed money, but you earn clothes, accessories, and other stuff by beating a game level or doing one specific thing for a while.

Limited Features, August 18, 2009
Fun:3.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: Diary Girl (Video Game)
It can be fun, but you are very limited in all that you can do.
1.You cannot turn off the password feature. Every time you want to to play you have to type in your password; very annoying.
2. You daily journal entries are limited to 300 characters. Not nearly enough in my opinion.
3. You cannot select time for reminders. If you need to remember the time of an appointment you must type it in; & reminder space is limited to 20 characters.
4. There is no option for setting reminders as recurring.
5. You can only have female contacts. If you want to input a male contact they will be represented by a female avatar.
I do like that it comes with a basic calculator.

I think this is an ok game :), January 23, 2010
Fun:3.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: Diary Girl (Video Game)
hi i am a 9 year old named holly. i would not give this a 5-star, because I think i like another diary game i have better. If you want to find out about it look up my secret world ds. Diary girl is a good game, but your charecter does not have much of a closet of clothes, colors, and hair. I think younger girls, such as mature 7 year olds and 8 year olds would be the type who play it every day. I think they came up with pretty fair games and a nice theme color: pink. I was very exited last year when i recieved this game for Christmas. moms who have younger girls, ages above, my review is : this is a very safe creative game for girls to express themselves in style. This is a horrible game for a tomboy.
