Product Description

Amazon.com Product Description

The Merlin EX720 ExpressCard offers customers fast, wireless broadband mobility, helping them boost productivity while maintaining easy contact with clients, colleagues, and family. The Merlin EX720 provides high-speed connectivity to EV-DO Revision A networks, with data speeds of up to 3.1 Mbps--greater than many wired broadband data services. At the same time, the ExpressCard's advanced dual-band diversity antenna system incorporates an external flip antenna, maximizing data speed performance and allowing for stronger network signal reception. It all adds up to an ideal mobile data solution for individuals or enterprise users.

Design
The EX720 is smaller and lighter than a traditional PC card, and works with newer mobile notebooks that support the ExpressCard 54 and/or 34 interface. The card's flip-up antenna system, meanwhile, offers embedded dual-band diversity at 800 and 1900 MHz. And thanks to the external antenna jack, it's easy to further enhance data throughput and maximize network connectivity in fringe areas. The EX720 even offers A-GPS capability, which lets you retrieve location data from GPS satellites and utilize GPS navigation and location-based applications.

Sprint Connectivity
Before checkout, choose the Sprint Internet plan that's right for you. The EX720 is compatible with Sprint's mobile broadband connection plans, which means you can access the information you require to work efficiently outside the office. Sprint's Power Vision network gives you the freedom to stay productive and connected whether you're on the road or in a meeting across town with broadband-like connection speeds. You will also receive access to Sprint's slower national network when outside the Power Vision coverage area.

Vital Statistics
Designed to support Windows XP, 2000, and Vista and Mac OS X 10.4.8 or higher, the EX720 is a breeze to use. Simply install the MobiLink Connection Manager to access the card's vast feature suite. Other details include the latest in I/O interconnect technology, advanced power management, and a service state LED. The EX720 measures 1.3 by 4.4 by 0.2 inches (W x H x D) and weighs 1.4 ounces.
