Product Description

This is a story about a young orphaned boy named, Eric, who went to live with his uncle at his secluded mountain cabin. Snow lay on the ground almost year round up in the valley, and their main mode of transportation is by toboggan or sleigh. Eric and his uncle get an unexpected visitor, during a severe snowstorm in their valley. This traveling stranger--whom Eric and his uncle left come in from the blizzard--suddenly, disappears, and he didn't even leave a footprint in the snow. I've always loved Christmas stories since I was a youngster myself. There's nothing more enchanting than living in the country at wintertime. Trudging through the deep snow to go sledding at my distant neighbors was a bonus. The half-mile trip gave me plenty of time to let my imagination run wild--especially at Christmas time--with all the colored Christmas lights twinkling off in the distance It was easy for me to envision Santa flying over the snow-covered treetops with his reindeer and sleigh shimmering in the moonlight. The incredible views were enough to stir anyone's imagination. So when I got older I remembered those earlier days when the crisp winter-winds would send me on an imaginary journey.

About the Author

Two published titles in soft cover: Paddle Tail and Paddle Tail's First Winter Adventure. Some of my future published works are titled; Toboggan Wax - Little Moe's Christmas - Under TheWishing Well - The Yellow Yellow Airplane - The Ghost Of Kaiser Rock - The SixWrinkled Pickles - Emma May's Sandbox - The Silent Songbirds - Buffalo Horn, and my novel, Rampage. Grew up out in the country with six sisters and two brothers, and with that many sibblings there was never a shortage of storytelling or simply being an avid listener. Education: I went to Saint Mary's Elementary in Butler, Pa., then on to Butler Jr. and Senior High schools. Travels: Germany - Viet Nam (United States Army's infantry division). World's Fair in Japan. Live in Renfrew, Pa. along with my wife, two cats--Dewster & Sam--a dog named Baxter, and a chipmunk we named Chippy--who all but Sammy, star in my book (on Amazon Shorts) titled, 'Under The Wishing Well.' I was awarded two Bronze Stars in Viet Nam. I hold a diploma in Locksmithing, a master course in air conditioning, refrigeration, and heating, and a Pa. state license for water treatment plants. Inventor of various things and have 200 plus pencil drawings. Presently working at A K Steel's Butler works--in the Environmental Dept.
