My wife got me this watch for our wedding anniversary. It was a wonderful surprise. I've been enjoying it for about 3 weeks now. It's a striking watch. The gold color is very classy. The strap design is good and secure (but like other metal bands, it can pull the wrist hair on occasion). The date number is a wee bit small and in low light is difficult to read. I love having not to worry about a battery replacement. I've had some compliments while wearing the watch as it's that kind of watch. I like it enough to want a silver one to be able to switch off as needed (hint, hint if wife is reading this). Citizen has done a fine job in engineering this watch.

Great watch. Bought one as a birthday gift for a family member. Was so impressed with it that I just ordered another one for myself! Will be my 2nd Citizen watch. Looks classier in real life. Gold color is toned down so it is not as flashy, at least the one I ordered was like this.

Yes its true the gold tone may scratch off after awhile and show the steel underneath, but my other watches are steel (besides the other cit. which is another color) and so I wanted one that was this color. The balance between the gold and black really looks sharp. Also I like this wristband very much, more than other wristband styles which are more common or popular.

Not sure about the other reviews comments about pulling on hair or size. I have small wrists so I have to have some of the clasps removed and the face seems fine to me as far as seeing what time it is, but I am nearsighted. I am pretty hairy too but I have not had this problem yet with any of my watches, even when I am Russhing out.

Overall I have seen other similar color watches, but this one for me is very classy and draws attention without being overly flashy. Do I wear it as I am walking to my car? No. Will I put it on as I ride out? of course! Will I take it off before I pump my gas? Depends on the station I am at, but I will wear it every day once I get my new one. I am sure my family member will like his too.

I am thrilled about not having to deal with batteries ever again! My other non-citizen watches sat in a drawer for months b/c of dead batteries. Eco-drive rules! Now if they could only make a car like that...or a flying carpet! hehe

After looking at a zillion wathces, I got my dad this watch as a gift. As soon as my eyes saw this watch, I was totally convinced this is the watch I have been looking for all along. Once my dad opened the gift wrapping and saw this watch, he absolutely loves it. It is not as flashy as the picture depicts. It is extremely sophisticated and I love to see it in my dads wrist.
