Product Description

Amazon.com Product Description

This Invicta men's Subaqua Noma III Collection 7751 automatic watch is sure to satisfy your every time-telling need with a sophisticated flair. The 50-millimeter case is constructed out of black-and-blue-ionic-plated stainless steel, with a black stainless steel bezel, and a textured black-and-blue-ionic-plated stainless steel band that includes a fold-over clasp with safety mechanism for a perfectly secure fit. The dial window is made of tough, scratch-resistant sapphire and protects the dark-gray dial face, which features silver-tone hour indexes, three eye-catching chronograph sub-dials, which feature month-and-day calendars below 12 o'clock, and a moon-phase calendar above the six o'clock position. In addition, a date calendar subtly circles the dial face, and large white Arabic numerals line the unidirectional bezel at five-minute intervals. Powered by automatic movement, this handsome timepiece is water resistant to 1640 feet.

Subaqua Collection

Led with expert engineering, and always ready to face the depths, no feat or occasion will ever be too great for Invicta’s Subaqua to handle. The sheer magnitude of this mighty timepiece is superbly executed with surgical-grade solid stainless steel, Swiss automatic movements, and multiple color options of ionic plating. Managing up to 500 meters of water, finished off with a unidirectional rotating bezel, integrated shock resistance, and Invicta’s luminous Tritnite hands, the Subaqua is the diver’s definitive in negotiating any adventure by sea or by land.

Screw Down Crowns: Many Invicta watches are equipped with a screw down crown to help prevent water infiltration. This is most common on our Diver models. In order to adjust the date and/or time on such a watch, you must first unscrew the crown before you can gently pull it out to its first or second click stop position. To do this, simply rotate the crown counterclockwise until it springs open. When you have finished setting the watch, the crown must then be pushed in and screwed back in tightly. Not doing so will cancel the water resistance of the watch and will void all warranties from the manufacturer. Overall, this process should not require a lot of effort or force.

Product Description

Collectively matching anyone's style, this gorgeous Invicta timepiece is Limited Edition, with its cool, bold design, will elegantly go with any scene.

5.0 out of 5 stars Love this watch, June 2, 2008

This review is from: Invicta Men's 4550 Subaqua Noma III Collection 7751 Automatic Chronograph Watch (Watch)
I bought this after I saw it on Shop NBC. The Amazon price was over $700 less. I liked it enough, I immediately (4- 5 days later) bought the same model in rose gold. The case, dial, and band look fantastic. The 7751 movement with all the complications, is a step above other watches in this price range.

It is a large watch and I have a small- just over 6" wrist, but it fits great. Good look for any casual non suit use.

Buy a watch winder. You need 800 revolutions a day- clockwise. I bought a TechSwiss off Amazon that works well with good pricing. Use either the 1st or 2nd winding time option (clockwise) to keep it wound.

Update- Same mechanism problem as Roger in his review mentions with my Rose Gold model. On June 21st (less than a month of ownership) the watch day and date funcitons didn't fully update and the watch was stopped. I would wind the watch and play with the date and it would run 1 minute on the second hand and stop at exactly the 15 second point. I played with the day setting and if it was rolled around before the 21st, it ran fine. Put it on the 21st and the second hand stopped at the 15 second mark again. I tried each day for the next couple of days and the same thing would happen on that date. Today 6/28, I checked it out again and reset the date- and it runs.

I'll wait and see what happens, but I'm guessing it will stop again next month on the 21st- assuming it does, I'll send it in for repair. I was told it was approximately 8 weeks and will cost about $30 for shipping under warranty. I do like the watch- a lot.

5.0 out of 5 stars Stand-alone watch, June 19, 2008
This review is from: Invicta Men's 4550 Subaqua Noma III Collection 7751 Automatic Chronograph Watch (Watch)
I just received this watch and all I can say is WOW ! It is everything I expected and then some. Much cheaper than ShopNBC. Also ships much faster here. Be aware that this watch is listed here TWICE. The other one is nearly 3000 dollars and is, you guessed it, sold through ShopNBC. The other one, (same) also here on Amazon is just over 1800.00. Be aware of that. Enough on that. I have several higher end watches and enjoy collecting them. This Invicta definitely stands out. It is nicely heavy and surely exclusive being there are only 500 made. I have 85. I do not have large wrists but it still looks great. You'll know right away if you can carry it well. Prior looking into this beast helps. Out of all my watches, this one sure stands out - in a good way. It is beautiful. So much more for so much less. Just be aware that there is a WIDE variety of Invictas out there. Enjoy.

UPDATE June 22, 2008
Watch stopped working today. Go to find out, the day hand, when on the 22nd, causes the second hand to bind up thus stopping the watch. Unacceptable for this price range ! Plus, I noticed a small particle of something on the inside part of the crystal. Invicta claims only 500 of these are made so there is no excuse for this in my opinion. Boxed it back up and sending it back to Amazon for a refund. Invicta should be ashamed of themselves. I had read somewhere on a review from a year or so ago that a subaqua stopped working for someone else. It was quite an extensive review but I don't remember where I read it. I figured regardless, that I would give it a shot. I have one battery powered Invicta that works fine. A friend has a couple that are working fine so far, so good. Needless to say, I am done with Invicta.
