5.0 out of 5 stars fun music, December 24, 2007
By Monarch (San Fran Bay area, California) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Bloody Knuckles (Audio CD)
Bloody Knuckles is a fun album that always leaves me in good spirits. There are several tunes from their Pipe and Bowl Morris show, and their English Country dance shows. Most notably "Sleights" from their sword dance which features their interlocking sword star. There are musical influences from other parts of the world as well, like Afghanistan in LAM 7.

5.0 out of 5 stars Haunting fun, December 23, 2007
By Monarch (San Fran Bay area, California) - See all my reviews
The much anticipated Ricker's Ghost album from the Bruno Band is a must have for any Bruno fan, or anyone who has an appreciation for good folk music.
The first song, "Lads a Bunchum," is also the first song that usually opens their Pipe and Bowl Morris dancing shows. Fans of their show (like me!) will also recognize song 7, "Young Collins," as a frequently performed tune as well.
Fans of English Country dancing will appreciate the frequently performed "Madge on a Cree," and "Newcastle."
I also thoroughly enjoy the waltz "The Pinnochio Thingummy." In short, this collection of music makes me want to get up and dance!
