this item is sold as a waterproof case designed for the iphone. it is not. it is a case designed for a generic phone or gps. it is much too tight for an iphone. worst yet, the 2 small clips on the outer edge of the thin pouch that starts the waterproofing have be disabled to make the opening wider at the expense, i fear, of water proofing. i got mine yesterday & will return it today.

Excellent case, great material.

To work your iPhone into and out of the case, use two business cards, on each side of the phone.

First I will say that this case Will Definately keep your phone waterproof, of course if you follow the directions. But it is extremely hard to get the iphone 3G in the case. It is very tight. I took a piece of paper and made a sleeve and got the phone in that way. But it took many attempts to get the phone in, and the "AquaPac" logo covers up the camera on one side, but if you use the other side, the blue film area covers up some of the phone settings.
Also, the 3G is so sensitive to light, that the sensors on the left side of the phone can't distinguish when you are on the phone. So it doesn't want to hang up or put the phone in the mode where it turns the screen black when you are on the phone.
You can hear through this cover if you need to make a call. All in all, it is a great company that puts out these Aquapacs, but this case is just a little too user "unfriendly"for the I-Phone. I'll use it for something else, and keep my phone away from any water!
