Head Case plays on human foibles exaggerated to the point of near surreality. Reminds me of some of the best offerings from the BBC. My only complaint is the brevity of most of the episodes, coming in at about ten minutes or so. I'd like to see some of the situations set up with a couple more "beats" to them, that a full 20 minutes would allow (ala Arrested Development, which proved this type of style can work as a longer, narrative show format). Too bad that episodes are still priced the same as much longer shows, including 45 minute dramas.
