The previous reviewer based her opinion on the fact she could not find a lightbulb for the lamp, but in fact all it takes is a trip to Lowe's to get the right one... a small round 40W bulb made for "decorative fixtures" and it works great! I bought this for my toddler's new big-boy room and couldn't be happier. At the time of my purchase, it was $14 with free shipping, while everything comparable on the net was $50 to $100! Plus the colors match his bedding so perfectly, it looks made to order. The quality is very nice. The plane's propeller really spins, and the plane itself can be rotated around the lamp, which my son enjoys doing. The brushed-steel hardware on the lamp is heavy and attractive, very high-end. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

This lamp is really cute and fits the airplane theme in my son's bedroom perfectly. It arrived well packaged and I think it is worth the money. However, like another reviewer, I am very frustrated by the lightbulb size. It is extremely hard to find one that fits at the wattage I want (I wanted a 25W bulb for a softer reading light). In the end, we had to go with the recommended 40W bulb - it is the only one that fits.

The lamp is cute, but beware that you need a special decocator bulb as a regular bulb does not fit. Lowe's or Home Depot have them.
