I disagree with other reviewers. I love the Tudors flaws and all. There are some historical inaccuracies (His son was much older when he died, the king was older then portrayed when he was courting Anne, he courted Anne for 7 years and was married to her for 3 however they squeeze that down into the first 2 seasons etc.) as well as some historiclly accurate incidents (the jousting accident, the day he almost drowned in the mud etc.). If you do not like film makers dressing up history then any movie or show that covers this era is not for you. Obviously we do not know exactly what happened each day in King Henry's court. The majority of the film or show has to be made up. The Tudors was done very well in my opinion. Very entertaining, just don't look for a history lesson here.

This is a great new series. I understand that the series may not be completely historically correct but it may get people interested enough to learn more about that time. That is what it did for me. Can't wait for season three.

People are actually willing to pay to watch this tripe? I am in the wrong business. Historically inaccurate, Mediocre directing, Horrible acting, crushingly boring story telling. But hey the costumes and sets are kinda cool-watch it with the sound off on fast forward!
