Best double stroller ever!, March 11, 2008
I bought this stroller about a year ago. I LOVE it!
I tried several front-to-back double strollers, including the "sit-n-stand" type. I do not have twins, I have a 5 year-old with special needs and a (almost) 2 year-old, so the weight discrepancy was a nighmare. If I put my 5 year-old up front the front-to-back was impossible to push, especially up or across a hill. If I put my 5 year-old in the back, she literally tipped the whole thing over, twice. Plus, she still got tired and napped in a stoller, and the "sit-n-stand" did not allow her any seat-back support.
I cannot say how wonderful this stroller is! I have washed it, it still looks brand new! I can still push this stroller with one hand with one or both kids in it. (again with a 22 lb. difference in weight!) I have never met a door frame I could not get through. (Not so with several of my friends who chose other kinds of doubles.) I have never had trouble with my wheels (again, un-like other options). I love that I can take off the sun-hoods. I can get it in and out of my husband's Camry trunk...unlike my front-to-back. It isn't particularly heavy, I can one-arm it without much trouble. The ability to put each side up and down individually is great! It's also super-quick and easy...you can one-hand it down, but you need two to get it back up.
When I got it, I was concerned about the poke/pinch factor of the side-by-side vs. the front-to-back, and I have to say the side-by-side is more social and my girls don't get bored, so it doesn't turn as ugly nearly as often!
Anyway, I would get this stroller a hundred times over, and have recommended it to anyone who would listen! :) Hope you listen!

Best Double Stroller I've Ever Used, June 17, 2008
This review is from: Maclaren Twin Triumph Stroller (Baby Product)
When my son was born 4 years ago, we received the Maclaren Triumph as a gift. I absolutely loved the stroller, so much so that when I accidentally ran over it with my car two years later, I bought a new one. Despite the cost, we were adamant that we must replace it with the same model. I still own that one and don't plan to get rid of it anytime soon.
Last month, we adopted a 3 year old girl. When we returned home and realized that there was no way I could go to the mall or the elementary school with two preschoolers without losing my mind, I quickly began searching for a new stroller. I already had a double jogging stroller, but it just wouldn't work at the mall or in buildings. We hesitated in getting this stroller because of the cost. The Combi seemed to be about $50 cheaper everywhere I looked. However, after comparing the reviews of this to the Combi Twin Savvy (which we owned with our first two children 7 years ago and liked pretty well), we knew the Maclaren was our choice again.
I am so glad we chose the Maclaren! It's fantastic. It's so easy to maneuver and to open and close. The kids (who are 35 and 36 pounds, and approximately 38" tall) fit easily and are super comfortable to the point of falling asleep sometimes. It's beautiful and classy (we own the coffee brown one)... we get compliments all the time. The little pouches behind the canopies are small, but fit sippee cups and keys and snacks perfectly within arms' reach. The pouches underneath are small, but for our purposes, they are fine. I can throw my purse in there and a small diaper bag, when necessary...even small store bags. The stroller closes compactly and with just a few kicks of levers and only takes up a small part of our minivan "trunk". In fact, for quite awhile, I was able to store two strollers back there until I decided there was no need for the single stroller anymore. The handles are the perfect height and width apart... and work beautifully for "hooking" bags on, like my older kids' bookbags when they are too heavy to walk home with. In fact, I use this stroller to walk around the neighborhood. It's so much easier to maneuver around bends and up and down sidewalks than the jogging stroller (which has a fixed wheel and isn't easy to use when walking, not running).
The cost is a little high for our family of six budget, but in my opinion, it is WELL worth the cost! I highly recommend this stroller.

Best stroller for twins!, June 1, 2008
I purchased this stroller about two weeks ago to replace my Babytrend Double Snap N Go and it has far exceeded my expectations. My twins are 4 months old and they love this stroller. My boys were getting too hot in their car seats in the Snap N Go and they are so much more comfortable in the MacLaren Twin Triumph. They sleep very well in it and seem very happy in it. The only downsides to this stroller I've found are the underneath compartments aren't easily accessible with the seats reclined and could stand to be a little larger. I purchased the Carbon Black organizer with this stroller and it does NOT fit the Twin stroller so please don't waste your money. The organizer was only meant for the single strollers. Cup Holders would have been nice but since it's easy to steer with one hand it's not a huge deal.
