Every Spring I borrow a friend's Chef'n burger press that works great for making 50-60 burgers for our annual branding, and since I could not find that product online, I was looking for a comparable product. Of those available online, I purchased this burger press because my family prefers the large sized burgers that it makes (over 4" across). I like the adjustability (it can make 1/4, 1/3 and 1/2 lb burgers), and the ease with which it makes smooth edges when you press the meat into the mold. The problems lie in these aspects of the design: First - it is hard to hold onto if, like me, you have pretty small hands. And Second - once you have gotten your hands all greasy from pressing the ground meat into the mold, it is next to impossible to turn the outside piece to push the formed burger out! Regardless, for the price, this works pretty well if you are not in a hurry to get a lot of burgers ready for a crowd.

This tool makes great patties, and if you press them into the mold well, they hold up to grilling or even pan frying! There are several size choices to choose from, and the mold is very easy to use, and clean.

I spray mine with a little Pam before using, and the patties are easier to remove.

The KitchenArt 18000 Adjust-A-Burger is great. It's real simple to use and with repeatable accuracy. It's a good and inexpensive way to make you're own burgers. Stock up on your own home made burgers when ground beef goes on sale or if you choose to grind your own and create your own special blend and spice mix.
