I have a HP dv9000 and the lycra is perfect! I have carpel tunnel and arthritis in hands. I find that this relieves the pressure on my wrist AND with the connection between the two, I can click on mouse buttons without having to drop my thumb and keeping the arthritis pain at bay for longer periods of time! Also, the sensitivity on mouse is great so I have now lessened the "oops" in moving my hands over the mouse and screwing up my typing! I think this and the gel are the best on the market for both lessening the heat from the computer (and swelling my hands) and the erogonomic height of the lycra to allow my wrist from bending while typing (carpel tunnel pain). My hand surgeon agrees with the concept (took to him to get opinion). Making a two piece out of this wipes out the benefits. I say congrats to the inventor!

Seemed like a good idea. Opening isn't big enough to access the touch pad and buttons on my laptop and mine is a smaller model. Can't see how it would work on almost any size laptop. Also too high to type over comfortably.

All in all a poor design. Tried to modify it, so I can't return it. Do not recommend it at all.

I am using this product with a 15-inch MacBook Pro. Typing on this computer with my poor hand positioning is uncomfortable and leaves indented creases on my wrists.

I purchased this product to make use of the computer more comfortable on my wrists, and minimize the risk of developing Carpal Tunnel Syndrome.

Unfortunately, the design of this product is awkward on my computer. My somewhat oversized touchpad useable surface area is decreased to about 60%. Also, the bottom of this product is not skid-free, so it tends to move a lot while in use requiring constant repositioning.

I ended up cutting off the bridging strands, so now I have just a left and right wrist rest with nothing covering the computer touch pad. The problem right now is limited to the skidding, but I will consider gluing a non-skid film to the bottoms. We'll see how it will work.
