I BOUGHT THIS ITEM ALONG WITH A K SOURCE 8 INCH MIRROR.IT IS A BASIC MOUNTING PLATE WITH DOUBLE SIDED FOAM TAPE ON THE MOUNTING SIDE.THE TAPE BEGAN TO GIVE WAY AFTER ABOUT 5 MINUTES OF DRIVING.A COUPLE OF BUMPS IN THE ROAD AND IT FELL OFF.IF ALL YOU NEED IS A PLATE THIS IS FINE,BUT IF YOU NEED AN ADHESIVE,SAVE YOUR MONEY AND BUY SOME GLUE!NO COMPLAINTS ABOUT THE K SOURCE MIRROR HOWEVER.
