This product allows 12 shots before you need to reload. This is an excellent time saver when you are practicing marksmanship. For competitive shooting you can preload several clips and avoid interrupting an entire match. I recommend having 8 or 10 of these clips for each shooter.

Two of these little "speedloaders" come with the 1077, but you will most definitely want more than that, especially if more than one person is shooting. I bought the 1077 and these clips for my 9 year old son and his friend to shoot with their dads. The 12-round capacity is perfect for taking turns. If you add this package then you don't have to have one adult constantly reloading the second clip to be ready for the next shooter. In fact, once we had all five loaded, we never completely ran out of all five at once, so we always had one ready to shoot.

My only complaint with them is that it can be confusing to remember which side faces down the barrel. It would have been nice for Crosman to print a small arrow to remind you so if you are loading fast or if you have a non-shooter loading them, you don't insert the pellets backwards. Other than that, they seem well-constructed of tough plastic, but they are not flexible so it wouldn't be difficult to step on one and break it. However, they are really inexpensive if you pick them up with Amazon fulfillment and Prime shipping. I don't know that I would pay $12 with partner fulfillment, but they are still really nice to have and possibly worth it if you do a lot of shooting.
