Hybrid recording technology lets you choose your recording format (8GB internal memory, DVD or removable Memory Stick PRO Duo media). Face Detection technology recognizes up to eight faces anywhere in the frame and automatically controls focus, exposure, and color. Use Dual Record Mode to capture still images and video at the same time. 2.7 wide Clear Photo LCD Plus screen has 211K pixels, touch panel technology and 270 degree rotation for multiple viewing angles. Camcorder features Carl Zeiss Vario-Sonnar T lens, 15X optical/180X digital zoom, Super Steady Shot optical image stabilization, built-in zoom microphone with Dolby Digital 5.1 recording, HDMI connectivity, switchable HDV/DV Format Recording and USB 2.0 interface.
