Birmingham-born singer songwriter Bryn Christopher is bringing old-school soul into the 21st century. There's no mistaking his effusive, charismatic live performances or his scale-defying voice that demands your full attention from the very first note. Not only an enigmatic showman, it's impossible to not be immediately won over by his skilled songwriting, ear-grabbing melodies and killer choruses. An intriguing, handsome, elegant 22 year-old, Bryn encapsulates all that is exciting about mixing musical influences.

`The Quest', Christopher's first single, is inspired by his soldier brother's experiences in Baghdad. Additionally, the song was recently featured in the season finale of Gray's Anatomy.

First steps first, though. It's a long career Bryn Christopher is doing his best to build for himself, and he'll take things at the pace they come. "I'd like to make some money of course, but it's the music - me singing - that comes first," he emphasises. "You only get one chance, really, and this is mine."

I heard a song on Grey's Anatomy and it stayed with me for a long time. I found out Bryn Christoher sang it and just had to have it. I purchased this CD for just the one song and was pleasantly surprised at the other songs.
