My physical therapist recommended a pillow with more support to help treat my pinched nerve and neck tightness. This pillow had free shipping, arrived promptly, and has been a welcome change from my normal pillow. I found some sizing templates and guides on another web site. You may need help in measuring, but it seems important to get the right size. I like this pillow much better than the TempurPedic pillow I also tried, which cost almost 3x the price of this one.

The 4 reviews I read before I bought seemed to be all side sleepers but they loved it so much I decided to try it. Went to the manufacturer's web site and used their sizing do-hickey. I literally spent about ten minutes on it then tossed it off the bed. It was pure misery. There is nothing that I can find about it that would be helpful for a back sleeper with painful neck problems. The neck roll part was hard and unevenly filled and seemed to have no resemblance to the shape of the sizing template on the CervAlign website. I sent it back the next day. The only reason I rated as high as I did is giving benefit of the doubt for the side sleepers.

For the last few years I've started getting muscle pain at the base of my skull. This muscle pain quickly grows into a headache that can be painful and annoying (not migraine horrible luckily). Pain medications never helped, and would barely take the edge off. I realized that it was probably sleep related (usually the neck pain would start in the morning). Drinking or staying up late always made things worse. I tried sleeping without a pillow for a short time, but I find that uncomfortable and it didn't seem to help much.

This pillow is amazing. I fall asleep on my side, but I think I end up sleeping on my back most of the night. This pillow is perfect for that. I won't say that I haven't gotten a headache since I've started sleeping with this pillow, but I can say that my morning muscle pains are gone and even when I do get a headache (which has been reduced from a few times a week, to every other week or so), usually two Excedrin knock it out.

I realize that I probably have greater issues, and this is just a "band aid", and not everyone will see the same results I have seen, but this has, without a doubt, improved my standard of life a little, and was well worth the cost.
