This is a great sampler of traditional Christmas music. Jingle Bells is great! Auld Lang Syne is another really good recording with very smooth, harmonious voices. No suprises here, no weirdness, just good, traditional stuff. Also the recordings are very good quality at a terrific price!

Sometimes it pays to check your e-mail messages from Amazon when you've signed up for the various newsletters here, and this is a good example. Found this Amazon Holiday Sampler listed, checked it, and found an excellent surprise for those who might want to add to their collection of traditional holiday music, with some interesting surprises.

The tracks on this sampler are:

1. I Wish You A Merry Christmas, by Bing Crosby
2. Deck The Halls, by Peggy Lee
3. The Nutcracker Suite, by Les Brown & His Band Of Renown
4. Auld Lang Syne (Remixed 1991), by The Beach Boys
5. Jingle Bells, by the Roger Wagner Chorale

This is an excellent mix, and it's easy to download while it's available. Just click on the gold "Get MP3" button and follow the self-explanatory directions that come up on the next screen to download the installer, which makes future purchases and free downloads so easy.

Other excellent MP3 holiday freebies from Amazon include:
