The only CD I ever saw or heard from this gifted singer was the 1997 'Robyn is Here' album which has provided me much joy over the years. I always intended to keep-up with her career because you could tell that she was an unusually-talented singer. The harmony overdubs on that record still floor me, especially at 3 minutes, 10 seconds into the song "The Last Time". The album was a virtual masterpiece, and though it is not available here at Amazon, it is definitely worth hunting for. This 3-song album, The Cherrytree Sessions, is apparently a recently-released recording by this unbelievable singer. It presents a very different Robyn than the one you may be accustomed to, however these 3 songs absolutely prove her vocal abilities and phenomenal talent. The songs are acoustic versions of songs that were released on her 2008 album "Robyn". It is an intimate and very-moving record that any true-fan will appreciate. To give such an incredible performance to such a sparse crowd only shows how much this girl is willing to give her "all" to blow us away with her beautiful voice. Live-recordings are the "true test" of a singer's capabilities, and Robyn has such flawless pitch that you will be amazed by The Cherrytree Sessions.
