Aesthetically, this sleeve is very much like that of the Kindle 2 itself; clean and simple with an understated elegance. Handcrafted from rich embossed Italian leather, impeccable detailing and a sleek finish using a seamless technology, this sleeve lavishly embellishes the Kindle 2. Slim and lightweight, this custom fitted sleeve adds very little additional bulk or weight to the Kindle 2 without sacrificing protection. Composed using a rigid, yet flexible shell made from genuine embossed Italian leather and a soft non-slip microfiber interior this sleeve snugly cushions the Kindle 2. The non-slip interior is made using microfiber lining which is a soft suede-like material. Molded to snugly cushion the Kindle 2, this sleeve offers protection against the elements; scratches and is impact resistance whilst in your messenger bag/briefcase. The Kindle 2 can be stowed in either direction which allows for protection whilst charging. Slim and lightweight by design, this custom fitted sleeve is so flat and bulk free that it stacks well with other books or papers. The Kindle 2 can be inserted into the sleeve in any direction and has been approved by Amazon as a Kindle Compatible product. The OCTO Kindle 2 Sleeve is a great Kindle carrier. It's an execellent grade of leather and I really like the slim and sleek style of it. It doesn't add weight to the Kindle like most holders will do. It fits the Kindle 2 very nicely and snug so you don't have to worry about your Kindle slipping out while in your bag. Slides in and out with ease (when inserted properly), and I received it in the amount of time it was promised. I highly recommend this product.

I've been looking for the perfect cover for my K2 for some time now and have been through many other covers and cases and this one seems just about perfect. It's just beautiful - the pictures don't do it justice. It fits my K2 snugly, even though I have a skin on it. I can't believe how sleek and small this case is, while not sacrificing protection of the Kindle. I'm very happy with this case and only wish that I'd happened upon it sooner.

This attractive and sturdy leather slip cover is an absolutely perfect way to protect a Kindle in a train bag or carry-on. It's crisp leather look and feel is elegant, and, made specifically for the Kindle, it slides in and out with ease without the danger of inadvertenly slipping out.

However, the product falls short in that it is just slip cover. If it could fold open like a book, the reading experience would not only be complete, but the Kindle and cover would generally not become separated and possibly lost. If you're looking for a nice accessory to keep your Kindle safe (though it is not water-tight [neither is a book]), this is the product for you. But for the price, it is a little disappointing that it is not a more functional piece.
