I'm a middle-age, overweight bicycle enthusiast. I really didn't want to wear the bike shorts that the skinny, athletic and fit young guys wear! The ZOIC shorts were perfect for me. I love how you can remove the inner liner (with the pads) and use it in "normal" shorts, too.

Note that the sizes run small. I wear a 38" to 40" in pants and shorts. I thought that an X-Large would fit, but when I tried a pair on at the local REI, they were too snug. The XX-Large from Amazon fit the bill.

The pockets are great, and they look enough like "normal" shorts that I'm not embarrassed to wear them into a store after a bike ride.
