This is a very interesting series with an even more interesting story line: A serial killer with a code. Each season just keeps getting better, which isn't usually the case with most series.

Season 1 was harrowing and chilling. Season 2 was tense and dramatic. Season 3 has it all. It seems the writers (bless 'em) really hit their stride in this season. Everyone gets their spotlight, and everyone shines like stainless steel in a hard spotlight. I cannot enthuse enough about this season of the series. If you haven't seen any Dexter, don't start here. You'll miss the nuances of character development. If you've been following Dexter you WILL find yourself captivated like you were on the slab in one of his killing rooms. I will not give away any plot points. Suffice to say that everyone from the directors to the actors to the writers have stepped up and delivered an epic plot arc. This is my favorite season thus far, which is a strong statement when considering how amazing the 1st season was. I cannot wait to see where Dexter and company go from here.
