5.0 out of 5 stars sugar and spice, May 18, 2009
While this blog is full of sarcasm and biting, thoughtful wit, it also has some amazing insights into humanity and its' bumbling, yet often lovable, ways.

5.0 out of 5 stars This blog takes hilarious and pungent jabs at today's society, May 18, 2009

(REAL NAME)
Magick Sandwich is not for those who spend lots of effort being "politically correct," because it frequently voices opinions or observations that many readers probably share but will rarely admit to. This blog takes extreme delight in skewering that which deserves skewering, be it today's political scene, an inane product or service being foisted upon today's consumers, or hypocritical comments made by those who should know better.

If you enjoy tangy, zesty, irreverent commentary on today's life, without censorship, take a bite out of Magick Sandwich.

5.0 out of 5 stars This is the Dagwood sandwich of blogs - it has everything!, September 16, 2009
By Laura H (Miami, FL) - See all my reviews
Magick Sandwich is the Dagwood sandwich of the intelligent, witty blogosphere. You will find ingredients in this blog that is hilarious and crude. Topics from politics to religion, fashion and nonsense that we fill our lives with. It will make you laugh, offend you deeply, and make you think.

Magick Sandwich ridicules America's vacuous obsession with all things celebrity by mocking its own devotion to the same; points out what should be the obvious, in stupid human behavior; places blame squarely where it belongs for the eight long Bush-years of deconstructing America - on Bill Clinton's shoulders (well not exactly the shoulder area).

If you find yourself mortally offended (right!) to the point that you dismiss Magick Sandwich as drivel, then you are probably among the extreme-religious persuasion, a republican, or conspiracy theorist democrat who, as Magick Sandwich would tell you, are being mind controlled any.

The intellectually astute delivery in language and form raises the bar on proper writing and inspires the reader to cogitate, if not run for the dictionary (tell the truth!) from time to time. After a couple servings, you'll know that the author is not a lexiconist but a vocabularian and that you are no longer a macroverbumsciolist. Thank you for not dumbing it down Magick Sandwich, as everything else is in today's society.
