4.0 out of 5 stars
Blog itself is great, it's the comics display that needs work, June 5, 2009
The idea of having my all-time favorite blog, "The Comics Curmudgeon", available on Kindle is awesome! If you haven't read it on the web, then then you need to crawl out from under your rock, find it, and bookmark it - right now! Go ahead, I'll wait.

There, see what I mean?
However, I'm giving it 4 stars out of 5 - NOT because of the content, but because, unfortunately, there are problems with how it displays because of Kindle's built-in format limitations.
First, Kindle is black & white. That's not necessarily a huge problem, because most weekday comics are in black & white anyway. However, you may not get as much out of it on Sundays.
Second, and this is a much bigger problem: the comics themselves are displayed as PICTURES on the Kindle. And if you've been Kindling for any length of time, you know what that means as far as quality is concerned. You can't really resize them, and most importantly, you can't read the lettering in the comics themselves.
Which means, if you want to understand what Josh is talking about, you're gonna have to either check the blog on your computer when you get to work or (heaven forbid) buy an actual NEWSPAPER! (eek!)
With all that said, I am still recommending you buy this blog, because it's an AWESOME blog - both Josh's commentary and the comments are hilarious, and well worth the $1.99 for that alone. Like I said, the subtraction of one star from my rating is for the Kindle, NOT for the blog!
