Good Selection...but where are the movie titles...composers...anything??, June 28, 2009
So when I saw this, I got pretty excited. I love film scores and classical music, so the two together seemed like a great buy. I, however, like most buyers, was disappointed to find that none of the tracks had the title of the movie they came from or the composer/conductor/orchestra. Basically nothing but the title of the song itself. Doesn't this seem odd for an album called, "50 Essential Film Music Moments"?
To calm my frustration, I decided to do a little research and find the movie source myself.
Here's the list. If you think some of the info is wrong, please correct it! I would hate to pass on false information!

Movie Classics, June 27, 2009
I can remember almost every one of these tracks. This will bring back movie memories. Great price and well worth it for movie buffs. Only reason it got 4 stars is because I wish the title tracks would show the actual artists that wrote/ played these songs and not just 'various artist'. Or even show what movie it's in. Maybe this is the case with only the digital downloads and buying the CD with booklet will have the details.
ADDENDUM: Reader D.H. Freeman gave a good link:[...]
The track composers etc. is there...took about 30 mins for me to copy & paste into iTunes...well worth it. Now I can sound 'cultured'
