Product Description

Purus mats have a heavier weight of adhesive, which yields a higher performing mat without excessive tack issues. The correct softness enables dirt to embed into the adhesive with just enough thickness to accept and contain the particles. Multi-Layered Construction Purus mats are available in 30 or 60 layer versions. Each layer of the mat is fully coated with a particle-grabbing adhesive and constructed of low-density polyethylene film. A low profile numbered tab indicates the number of remaining layers and ensures one-layer-at-a-time removal. Purus mats are produced in an ISO 9000 factory. The completely integrated manufacturing process with film extrusion, coating, laminating, (added comma) and converting ensures consistent quality.

We're doing a major renovation to our bathroom and have to cart debris outside over a hardwood floor. No way did I want concrete and tile crumbs ground into that floor. We placed a pack of this mat right outside the bathroom door and make sure to step on it a few times before going onto the wood floor. Amazing what it grabs off your shoes. As it stops pulling the junk off your shoes, just peel that layer off and throw it away. Each sheet is numbered in decreasing order so you know, as you peel off a used sheet, how many you have left.

One note: the product says 30 layers but the top layer is the protective sheet, so it looks like you get just 29 sticky sheets.
