The Blendtec WildSide blender is all that it says it is and more. You can see how great it is by watching their demo web site: www.willitblend.com. It may not look like a high-end commercial-grade blender because everything you buy now is made mostly of plastic. But, don't let this Blendtec fool you! Old-fashioned blenders that I have had were good brands back in our parents' and grandparents' day, but it's worth spending extra money if you really want to make Green drinks and crush ice well. The two-bladed system works better than an old-fashioned 4-blade style. Vendor shipped it in a timely fashion, and arrived in one piece due to proper packing.
