Just like Hopkins 24/7 before it, Boston Med does a solid job week to week covering the lives of medical professionals and some of the more challenging cases they handle. Ten years elapsed between the airing of Hopkins 24/7 and Boston Med. I realize these shows are expensive to produce, but I'd love to see them more often, even if only every other year.

I'm so upset there are not more episodes of this show or of 'Hopkins.' It's great for people who love medicine, students interested in going into medicine, or just for the people who love blood and guts! If anyone knows of any more shows like this please let me know!

I usually don't opt for 'reality' episodes, but this is well done and very interesting. I enjoyed it very much.

Excellent, but that last year surgery resident on there is a jerk. and he knows it. i don't know why but surgeons are so egotistical and think they are such hot &^%$. once they get accepted in the surgeries residencies that ego goes up up up. surgery is usually considered the cream of medical residencies. i have learned from working with doctors for 25 years (no i am not a nurse) that intelligence does not correlate with humanity. it is a rare surgeon who is a nice guy and feels for the patients. dr. Chris Evanich., milwaukee, wi is a rare breed. if only all surgeons could treat his patients like this.

Great medical series. I am RN so all the blood and guts don't bother me. However it is not a docudrama it is really an emergency room. If you are of faint of heart do not watch this. If you are an adrenaline junkie like most of us are who work critical care, are EMT's, are physicians this is a show for us.

This is one of the best documentary-style shows I have seen on television. It is so well done, and will leave you both laughing and crying. If only they made another season because it is such an inspiring show.

Somehow just not as compelling as NY Med; perhaps the characters followed throughout the episodes (doctors, nurses) are not as engaging.

If you like medical stuff, this is great. Realistic, and has a bit of background on the docs and nurses personal lives, too.
