This episode is my complete favorite of the series. It's funny and it really does bring you back to the 80's. British humor at it's funniest!

Back many years ago my brother turned me onto this series. I watched the episodes a couple of times and enjoyed. I finally purchased the DVD set for my brother for Xmas and recently purchased for myself at Amazon. I have watched all episodes at least 20 times each. Like some of my favorite movies I quote lines from The Young Ones often. It was very cool to see one of my favorite bands "Motorhead" as a musical guest (Season 2 - Ep 1..Bambi..favorite episode). Just like Seinfeld, I will watch these shows many times until I meet my Maker.

The passing of Rik Mayall spurred my interest in going back and watching this show I'm hadn't seen since my youth. It's much more innocent than I remembered (the roommates, already in their 20s are on a quest to lose their virginity).

It's abstract, political, insightful and had some amazing musical guests (Motörhead, The Damned).

I think the second series is perhaps even better than the first. The episode "sick" is by far one of the best ever made, and the brief cameo by Vyv's mum is a shining moment. This show definitely suits a specific humour, but if you like Black Books and BBC comedies then it's a good chance you'll like this too.

While I am impressed with the shipping speed and I had no problem with the seller I did not pay attention to what region this would play on...it only plays on regions 2&4 needless to say in the U.S I'm little disappointed...but I most likely didn't pay attention to what region it would play on

A throw back to my youth, I remember being allowed to stay up late by my Mum to watch this. My husband and I watched this with trepidation as we were sure it couldn't be as good as we remember, but it was. Well worth a view!

While every episode of both seasons are funny and entertaining, this particular episode (Sick) is truly a work of art. It's hilariously funny and adding in Neil's parents was just icing on the cake. Love this!

I am a huge fan on Brit comedies, and this was the first I fell in love with. It is quirky and weird... I had to buy it to keep my own little piece of Rik Mayall...RIP.
