[TIP: If there is a blue "HD" bar on top of the page, click on it and you will be able to download the show in HD. Otherwise, you might get the regular Amazon rental-movie-quality download (which is not that great, especially when you watch it in full-screen mode).]

Edit: 1/28/11
When I first wrote this review, they were running some sort of promotional thing where 2 episodes were included in a single download (1 episode of "Family Guy" and 1 episode of "Bob's Burger"). However, now you only get a single episode of Family Guy, so I am editing this review to delete any mention of "Bob's Burger".

This Family Guy episode is about Peter needing to have a kidney transplant and Brian offering to donate his own kidney in order to try to save Peter, plus various other stuff. I enjoyed it.

I'm ready to buy the entire Family Guy series from Amazon Instant Video. I'm not though, because I don't know what I'm getting. Family Guy is one of the few series I care about listening to the commentary. Also, I need to know what foreign language audio tracks are included. It's not like commentary and foreign language tracks are bleeding edge technology.

Unfortunately, Amazon prefers you just guess at what we're paying for, since they know customers will just pay for it again when they realized they were fooled with the first purchase, and then again, when we realize it was censored, then again when we realize only one of the commentary tracks were included, then again when we realize the uncensored version was just the latest level of censorship applied by the FCC, but not the broadcast standards department, then again when we discover there are no subtitles, then again when the subtitles we bought on the 12th time we bought it were not in english. Then again when we realize that the "gold" version was not the definitive version, or the "platinum" was not the "director's cut".

Anybody else sick and tired of having to buy the same content a hundred times over and over and over and over and over again to get what you paid for? Anyone else wondering which megacorporation will be the one to realize they have an opportunity for massive profit and loyalty in just being honest and giving their customers what they're paying for--DEFINITIVELY!!!!!

Anyone surprised that people tend to fileshare? I wonder how many people who fileshare, do so not to steal content, but just to avoid being continuously stolen from. Come on, Amazon! Help us bridge the gap here.

If you are looking for a stream of uncensored family guy episodes, keep looking. It seems like you need the dvd to get uncensored.

Family guy is super funny, but this played like a full length movie. It wasn't just a satire cartoon but it came thru really, really amazing. I actually paid to have this and have watched it many times. An animation with a strong real storyline that worked! Bravo MacFarland.

Even though it begins with Stewie wanting to kill Santa, it gets Christmas right at the end. The first song is about Christmas greed. The conclusion is to save Christmas by curbing our appetites to gorge on stuff. It will probably start a "Just One Gift" movement.

Probably the best animated TV movie made by Family Guy. The sound track is wonderful and the plot kept you glued to the screen. Family Guy should produce a full length animated movie for the silver screen similar to what the Simpsons did.

Seth hit it out of the park with this one. The main character is like my brother-inlaw except Peter has jobs. The show is funny and I especially love that there are no commercials. Amazon gets the newer seasons faster than Netflix.
