I enjoyed how they would take internet clips and try to prove or disprove them using several scientific approaches based on their knowledge of cameras, stunts, geology, etc. It wasn't simply like other shows that see an orb for example and say, "We've have debunked the idea that this is a bug... because we didn't see any bugs" - Just because you didn't see the bugs, doesn't mean it isn't possible that there was a bug people. So it was refreshing to see a show that actually looked into these claims with a more analytical eye. They went in wanting to find actual answers, rather than just showing you ghosts in every corner of every room in every episode. Sadly, Syfy decided to take it off the air for whatever reason. I miss this show.

"Fact or Faked" features stupid, silly wannabe "investigators" who spend more time basking in their own self-perceived cleverness than even making a desultory attempt at anything like legitimate investigation.

There are much better programs available on the subject of UFO investigation than this. For example, the series "Close Encounters," which is available on Amazon.com.

I bought the season, and have to say the production quality in conjuction with the on camera talent make this a worth while viewing pleasure. Can't wait for the next season... Please say its coming.

I love the way they handle the varied topics they choose to investigate. The honesty they bring to their production shines through.
The overlap with other SyFy series also adds to the charm of the show.

Jael needs a spin off series. Just a suggestion.

The team reviews oddities from the internet and U-Tube to decide which ones to investigate. They look into UFOs, monsters, ghosts, et al.
Lots of variety and very thorough attempts to scientifically debunk the oddities.

Know it has not shot any new episodes and that is too bad. I think it is interesting and I like the cast. Know some people think it's "rehearsed narratives" are not reality enough; but these guys know they have to give a background on their cases and I think they do a great job of being professional, courteous (without all the language beeps), interesting and fun.

Wish they were still doing this show. Very entertaining. They take a "paranormal" event and use various methods to debunk it. Sometimes their conclusions debunk...sometimes they don't.

I love the show because it shows all kinds of different paranormal stuff that is actually believable. They never pick stuff that just anyone could do or is total CG, it's really mysteries to be solved :)

The only problem is, as others have already said, they will never admit that something is real. It's either faked or a mystery, they never say something is fact when they can't come up with an explanation. And sometimes the explinatinos they come up with are totally idiotic. In several cases they go to extreme measures to do something that the people who have witnessed it couldn't or wouldn't have gone through to make the video. For example the swing in episode four of season 2, where they said it was just the wind the whole time. This was totally stupid as what they had to actually do to recreate it was confine the swing set in a giant tent and make a fan blow on it at one exact angle... yeah the wind is going to just blow in a three foot area in that exact angle ever day for the last five years to make the swing do that, that's totally plausible! ( <- sarcasm)
