Breaking In 2 Seasons 2011

Season 1
4.3 out of 5 stars (27) IMDb 7.2/10

"Contra Security, corporate America's answer to ""The A-Team,"" gives clients a sense of security by first ripping it away. The firm is led by OZ (Christian Slater), a larger-than-life head honcho who is a man of mystery and master of manipulation. The members of the odd squad include alluring bad girl MELANIE (Odette Yustman), who is in charge of lock-picking, safe-cracking and heart-breaking; and CASH (Alphonso McAuley), a fanboy who specializes in strategy, logistics and office pranks only a mad genius could think up. Oz's newest recruit, plucked right out of college, is lovable and charming computer hacker CAMERON PRICE (Bret Harrison). Unfortunately for Cameron, cracking into state-of-the-art security systems is a lot easier than dealing with his co-workers. Between Melanie's sex appeal and Cash's hazing, Cameron has more than a few obstacles to overcome if he wants to cement his status as part of the team and become Oz's go-to guy."

I enjoyed this show a lot and I'm looking forward to future episodes. The premise is totally ridiculous and the show is very much like Robert Redford's Sneakers.

Still, it's funny with several laugh out loud moments (which for me is a rarity). It was an enjoyable 22 minutes, enough to make me buy future episodes.

It was one of the best TV shows in a very long time, it is too bad it was cut short. Fox is know for cutting great shows too soon, look what it did to Firefly. The second season was a BIG let down, don't waste your time or money.

For the most part, Season 1 is a lot of fun. It doesn't take itself very seriously, which sets it apart from shows like Leverage or many of the heist movies out there. Occasionally this is to its detriment, but overall I enjoyed it. Unlike Season 2, this first season is actually about breaking in - with office interplay and love triangles thrown in.

The characters are very much characters. Their idiosyncrasies are blown out of proportion, but that's ok in a show like this - I don't need them to be completely believable real people because the show is for humor and relaxing. Just don't watch season 2...

Pretty entertaining show. Would have sucked without Trevor Moore though. I didnt stick through to watch the second season a lot of cast members disappeared after the first season and it destroyed the show - probably why it is not on TV anymore. The first season was pretty funny though

I saw this show for the first time last night and 'BOOM' Dynamite! I love it! Great writing! You might have to watch a couple of times because you'll be laughing over some good lines. Bret Harrison was good on 'Reaper' but he's great on this show. And as far as Christian Slater goes, third time is a charm for a series. I hope that this show can beat the odds and get a full season. The comedy half hour is back, baby!

I LOVE IT. Good start to a new series, it's about a group who are experts in breaking in to systems hense the title Breaking In. Funny and good cast. And Christian slater so glad to she him at another attempt at a series and it's a little action with comedy, far from his last attempt at tv with My Worst Own Enemy.

It's almost like a tv series show called Leverage, if you've ever seen that show.

This show is cleverly designed and has some moderately good acting and script writing. I am reminded, however, of one of my favourite movies, "Sneakers", every time I watch this show. While the main point of the show and movie are totally different, the most basic concept: people getting paid for finding holes in security systems by "breaking in". The show's first season, having only seven episodes, makes it difficult to grade as five stars because there was not enough time or opportunity to develop the characters, and ***partial spoiler*** for some reason, several of the characters didn't make it into the second season. A solid show, not the greatest, but now that we have a second season it has plenty of room to grow.

Although I enjoy quirkiness, the characters personalities seem imcomplete or muddled at best. Didn't see much of a concept here or how different this series will be compared to what's already offered. Was only mildly amused, not impressed.
