I purchased this single episode on Valentine's Day hoping I would see a scene that has been deleted from the original episode. Aside from the romantic connotations of Lois' dream of she and Superman/Clark Kent falling in love and getting married, the deleted scene showed Superman flying to the Swiss Alps, landing to pick the edelweiss Lois requested for her hair, and flying back to Metropolis with a music background of which indicated Superman was truly in love. (This scene was prior to the announcement of his return to the salon when Lois hears him flying back). I have not seen this part of the episode since I was a teenager and would watch the reruns aired during the summer months. It is still my favorite Adventures of Superman episode aired in color.

Baby boomers will recall this series with fondness. Simple, heroic characters doing amazing things. But for those moderns who can get past the basic, practical special effects, these are entertaining morality plays. This Superman is confident, kind and unconflicted. The criminals are comic and do awful things but in 1950's style. The best of these adventures stretch the boundaries of the possible and pose challenges that Superman cannot easily meet with strength and speed alone."The Big Freeze" is an excellent example.

Here's a "rare" opportunity to see Jack Olsen(Jimmy)to take on a duel
identity and ends up snooping around Kent's apartment. What he finds is
shocking to say the least. Kent shouldn't allow anybody to have access to
his "Secret Closet" if you know what I mean? Great episode, color is fantastic!
Don't miss another episode of the Adventures Of Superman!!!

This was a very old episode that looks just as good as it did when it first came out in color.
Great story and great acting. It gives you a look into Lois' personal life and she falls in love
with Superman like most women did back then. Some even now. Some serious acting and Noel Neil is
the best Lois Lane. George Reeves is great as usual too! Enjoy!!!

The Adventures of Superman is a lot of fun. Nothing like the razz-mataz that we have all grown accustomed to in the modern cinema, this series nonetheless satisfied because it features the simple message that good will triumph over evil, and that there are such things as heros.
