Having read this book and most the books by Dick Francis, this movie tries to cram so much into so little time. I must say that the did hit the high spots, but it was so fast moving that unless you read the book you really didn't get what was going on especially in the scene with the mirror. If the producers had allowed more time for this production it could have been better developed like some of the Agatha Christie mysteries. Better luck next time.
