Best Friends Forever 1 Season 2012

Season 1
4.5 out of 5 stars (28) IMDb 6.4/10

"Best Friends Forever," from executive producer Scot Armstrong ("Old School", "Hangover 2"), is a new comedy about old friends, new beginnings and awkward situations. Jessica St. Clair ("Bridesmaids") and Lennon Parham ("Accidentally on Purpose") star as Jessica and Lennon, best friends who live on opposite sides of the country with the men in their lives. When Jessica is overnighted divorce papers, Lennon convinces her to return home to Brooklyn and back into the apartment they used to share. It doesn't take long for the girls to fall into old habits: movie marathons and late night girl talk sessions -- none of which is good news for Lennon's live-in boyfriend, Joe (Luka Jones, Upright Citizens Brigade).

Shame on NBC for not having faith in this little show. Lennon Parham and Jessica St. Clair are hilarious as best friends...forever :P. Jessica's marriage is ended so she moves back to NYC to live with Lennon and her boyfriend. Hijinks ensue, but it is the acting and chemistry that make this show. The writing is sharp with some good physical comedy. And though some may find it predictable, the comedy doesn't come from the situations, but from the dialogue surrounding them. So while you say "oh there's going to be a fire in the apartment" the part that makes you laugh are the events surrounding this fire and the reactions of the characters. Love the whole cast on this show, give it a chance.

Jessica and Lennon are lousy with talent, and this television show is an excellent vehicle for them. It's a shame NBC gave up on it so quickly (though, to their credit, they did advertise it more than, say, BENT). It has the makings of a classic, but as it is unlikely to exist in any form other than these six episodes, we'll just have to enjoy what we have.

The chemistry between the two leads makes me weep for my pathetic relationships. This is quite frankly the funniest most heart warming show I have ever seen. You all screwed up by not watching it when it was on NBC which is why there are only 6 episodes here- but America you can make up for it by watching their new show Playing House on USA. Jessica, Lennon- can I be your GBF?

This too short-lived network series features real-life bestie Jessica St. Clair and Lennon Parham as friends who move in together after one gets divorced. It's very similar in tone, style and theme as the duo's current USA series Playing House, and both BFF and Playing House are definitely worth a watch.

Fun, funny and smart female-centric comedy that we could use more of.

I don't know what to really say except that this show is really hilarious. Jessica St. Clair and Lennon Parham are amazing together and the surrounding cast of brilliant co stars are awesome too. I hate NBC for giving up on this show. Although, they have an awesome new show on USA called Playhouse. Same sense of humor, so if you like that show you'll love this one.

Just binged watched this show. I was delighted to discover it, as I love this team of Jessica St Clair and Lennon Parham. They are currently creators of and starring in the TV show "Playing House" which i also am a fan of. These shows both share similar story lines and in each case the writing is quick, witty and based on the unconditional love and support these best friends have for each other when their marriages and careers hit road blocks. I wish there had been additional seasons of this show - what a shame it was cancelled after only one.

Fresh, original and full of chemistry between these eccentric, likeable characters. This show has the same dynamics and many parallels to Lennon and Jessica's later series "Playing House" but it didn't prevent me from thoroughly enjoying both shows. If you like the characters, this show could be addictive.
