I have come to the Stooges late in life...I never got them as a kid. But, I watched a "Stooge-athon" on AMC one year and we laughed and laughed until it was painful. In order to try out my Kindle HD Fire 8.9" video ability, this was my first purchase. It is a jewel of a biting and clever satire of Hitler, Goering and Goebbels running the country, Moronica; a forerunner of Jon Stewart and is excellent as such. Moe has the requisite if crooked mustache, Curly the medal-filled uniform and Larry a whip and jodphurs. But too, the Kindle played it flawlessly and made it all the more enjoyable for me. I'll probably download the whole series.

The Stooges, (like every other group of performers before them or since), have hatched some real stinkers.

Thankfully, this was not one among them.

It was well written, produced and edited. Moe and Larry were smart enough to stay out of Curly's limelight and just let him shine and become his foils.

It's a shame that Bobby and Peter Farrelly couldn't capture more of this style of comedy when they put out their recent feature-length release.

Now THAT truly sucked.

You either love them or hate them. I have found that this is something I can watch repeatedly and never tire of it. I find myself in the minority, being a female and loving the stooges. There are some real favorites on this including "I'll Never Heil Again" which I showed to my U.S. History 7th graders to add to our lesson on World War 2.

Perhaps the best spoof of Hitler's Nazi party ever made. And, at a time when a great majority of Americans were unaware of the dangerous ideas sweeping Germany at the time. Great fun with a good lesson in the all too familiar demagoguery that plagues politics to our day.

I've watched these until the cows came home, and my partner has been trying to convince me to watch it "just one more time, pleaaaseeee?" And I said "I'm fine."
I got hit on the head with a frying pan.

I've always like The Three Stooges (before Curly left the show, that is). I'd recommend this to any Three Stooges fans because it's just so funny and timeless.
