The show is amusing. I like the characters. The acting can sometimes be a little over the top. The quality if play is usually excellent as long as you have high speed internet. I loved the theme song from this season that was shortened at the end of this season and totally disappeared before the beginning of the next.

I only just discovered this extremely funny show, which is actually in its third year. At first, I wondered how the premise could possibly work, but it really does due to wonderful comic timing of its extraordinarily talented actors and some clever writing. If you enjoy a good laugh, this is for you.

Excellent! I love it! Best sitcom to come along in years: the dialogue and comedic timing are unsurpassed. Why TVLand cancelled it, I will never know. But one thing is for sure, they were quit while on top of their game. And the show is truly funny, unlike some of the others TVLand has tried to sell us ... such as Kirstie Alley's show, or Jim Gaffington (or whatever his name is): not funny. Truly not funny. In one ad for Kirstie's how Rhea Perlman (think I got the name right) did a parody of an old classic Betty White line in the same kind of delivery tone and it was so obviously a copy cat attempt, it was pathetic. My formerly favorite show was Hot in Cleveland then the writers/producers went weird with the story lines and relied more and more on higher profile actors to try and sell the show. Anyway, it is just a sad lineup on TVLand now.

The Exes is a laugh out loud Funny Show. I am glad to see TV Land branching out in recent years with shows like the Exes and Hot In Cleveland (another show I like). This cast is well assembled and play off each other very well. Hoping Kristen Johnston's health improves.

If you enjoy the drunken, illicit sexual encounters and other disturbing acts of a morally bankrupt group of washed-up human rejects, then this show is for you. If you want your children to learn that casual sex outside of marriage with highly-questionable partners strictly for excitement or pleasure with total disregard for the consequences is acceptable behavior, then this show is for you. If you think Phil having sex with a "nun" is funny, then this is the show for you. As even fans of the show have pointed out to me here (I personally refuse to watch it), it gets even more disgusting with each new episode. To them, that seems to be its appeal. Finally, if worn-out jokes and situations lifted from long-past sitcoms and linked to all of this bad behavior still entertain you, then this is the show for you. I'll be glad to see TVLand and The Exes gone.

My favorite Exes episode! Especially good because all the characters are equally involved in the plot line and all bring hilarious comments and actions. This episode is one funny line after another!

There's so much talent on this show, but these story lines don't seem to let them shine. Individually, any one of these characters would be funny, but maybe the problem is with the writing.
