It took me a couple episodes to warm up to Tosh's delivery. But wow! What a genius! His bits based on variouss clips from the interweb are pure genius. If you donot mind being disgusted while laughing, you will adore this show.

For those who have not heard of this show, you have to go into watching Tosh.0 with the understanding there is nothing sacred or untouchable when it comes to the subject comedy and humor. This can be extremely funny and refreshing (in a society hell-bent on allowing itself to be subdued by a politically correct police state) - but the extremely funny bits are surrounded by seemingly endless acres of the same recycled potty humor in order to fill the creative voids (of which there are many).

A large chunk of the show is apparently aimed at adolescent minds - but the show as a whole is completely inappropriate for all non-adults. Incessant and repeated "b-hole", vomit and other assorted potty humor is the normal subject matter. Graphic and many times violent internet videos are used as the centerpiece and subject matter for much of the comedy. So consider yourself warned.

Again - race, gender, sexual orientation, ethnicity - and pretty much anything is/are all fair game in this show… and the satire should be obvious for some. Nevertheless, do not watch if your overly sensitive and easily offended - because if you are, this show will offend you. Enjoy!

To me, and i have seen his concerts. Chris Rock is the best comedian on the planet. Tosh is easily second in comedy for me. the guy is fast on his feet, just as fast as rock if not faster. he hits topics hard and nothing is out of bounds. chris rock will talk about the pope to rape, molestation, to anything that comes to his mind. Tosh is no different. The topics are different. Tosh really engages the audience and you feel apart of what he is doing. I love the show. Love his stand up. I did not get hooked right away. but when i did, now rock and tosh are an addiction for me now. give it a try. but you have to have flexibility in your humor. or you will not like this show. they take the most disgusting things on the internet and its even hard for me to watch. people getting hurt, and stuff with food, and just plain stupidity. its all there for a great laugh. 5 stars all the way.

Tosh.0” thrives on that kind of blundering exploration of race, class, gender, life. It is really a TV show about a man who never quite got past his post-graduation jadedness — or who has made a splendid act of pretending to be the guy who enters the world and immediately sets about disliking it.

Similarly, “Tosh.0’s” audience is caught in that tantalizing space where higher learning and a guiding set of ethics are either going to take root or not. “Tosh.0” thrives in a world where a little racism or misogyny or homophobia makes perfect logical sense — if you’re sort of an a-hole. “Tosh.0” invites everyone to be sort of an a-hole. Most shrewdly, it’s also an excellent place to make fun of a-holes.

A very simple way to describe Tosh.0 is to say it's the modern day "America's Funniest Home Videos." However, that's a very limiting view of this show. Yes, it covers silly and disgusting youtube videos like the old home video shows, but the host is nothing like the mild mannered Bob Saget. Daniel Tosh, the host of the show is crude, blue, and twisted. The parodies and the segments on the show are much more polished than the first season. This is not family friendly and their key demographic is 20 something males, so this may give you an idea on what to expect. I love the humor, love the host, love the style of the show. If you like Bill Cosby kind of humor, this is not for you.

First of all, it is my personal opinion that Tosh.0 belongs in the corner of your computer screen, off to the side from whatever you are doing. If Tosh.0 is what you are doing, then you are doing it wrong. Even when it airs on TV i watch it while drawing or working on homework, or playing a game etc. This is where I go when I want to chuckle, or occasionally even laugh out loud at my fellow human's stupidity. It is in essence the monthly fail compilation that you find on youtube, just in TV format. If you know that going in, you'll be happily entertained because it is well done, and the commentary is golden. If, however, you are similar to my mother, you will not be impressed.

Watching the first season of Tosh.0 I laughed so hard I couldn't breathe; but the show didn't give the same effect from one episode to the next, because I was becoming desensitized. That's the problem with us today, it takes too much to amuse/impress us anymore. I love Tosh's humor, but his apparent supernova-ing cynicism and sardonic megalomania become almost too much to bear while trying to be entertained by this show. If I wasn't captivated by his Macaulay Culkin like charm, I might have stopped watching early on.

Thanks to Prime, I've had a chance to catch up with the wacky world of the Internet, or at least two seasons. The first season of Tosh.0 is lighter and much more enjoyable. By contrast, maybe through different writers or even Daniel Tosh's raging Diva within, Season 4 comes off a tad harsh and jaded. Otherwise, it should have five stars for properly lampooning all that is "teh dum" about the Web, society and the over-seriousness and PC nature of the modern world. As if there were such a thing.
