Even with the *bleeps*, not an appropriate show to watch with younger ears around. Very unfortunate since the subject matter is both interesting and educational, especially in a day and age when manual labor is viewed as a lower class job. We need shows like this minus the garbage coming out of the logger's mouths as teaching points for our kids. Houses, tables, chairs, etc don't just pop out of the ground in boxes and kids should know where they get the material to make them.

I love it! I watched season 5 before this season and the characters involved in this episode are more raw and less "for the show" than in season 5. I recomend season 4 because the exchanges between employees and bosses and the emotions are more on the cuff and less over produced than in 5.

This review is based upon not the instant DVD on the computer or PS3 or Xbox. What I am wondering is where is Season 4 on DVD? Its like they skipped 4 and went to Season 5 on DVD. What happened? I don't really want to sit in front of my computer and watch Instant Video, I'd rather be sitting on the couch in front of my TV and DVD player. I would imagine Season 4 is just as hiliarious and fun to watch as Seasons 1-3 and 5, but I don't quite understand what happened to the DVD version??? Does anybody have any idea or know where to get it? I prefer Amazon just because they are very good at what they do in terms of order processing, shipping, etc. BTW, Shelby is the undoubtedly the most fun swamp logger to watch, he, and to a lesser extent Rygaard and S&S are my 2nd favorites. Now there's drama, Rygaard is about the most intense, fist-fighting crew, but they also play some really funny stunts. I loved the lunchbox episode, can't recall if that was in Season 5 or 3, but I couldn't stop laughing as it hurled down the cable from the machine and smashed to pieces. Now that's funny!

It would be far more interesting if they showed the various types of logging situations, problems, and fixes then all the made up drama.

Sorry to say this series sucked! Some episodes have lost its continuity and editing is clearly being done...
Anyway, take a look on YouTube and you will see these. Once editing and staging was executed it lost a viewer.
Nice scenery though!

This is always entertaining to me, with the exception of the Smith duo (mostly the Dad). I enjoy watching the progression of events during the logging season. LOVE Shelby and Willie the most!! LOL
