I enjoy Chopped. I bought this season because I hadn't seen any of the episodes. All in all, this was a pretty good season; it wasn't marred by a lot of ridiculous gimmicky baskets and there were a lot of great moments. I think if I were going to buy one season for someone who had never seen the show, this season might be it. The best episode of the season is #10 Hecho en the Chopped Kitchen. Honorable Mentions go to #4 No Kidding, and #11 Make No Mistake.

While its is formulaic every show is different and frequently exciting. With all these seasons, though, I can start to see the team trying out new concepts and the contestants starting to pout more about "causes."

This is one of my favorite Food Network Shows. The focus is really on the food here, which is the way the Food Network should be. You can really learn new ingredient combinations or about new ingredients you may not have heard of before. It's great that if you miss a show on TV, you can just order one show a la carte on Amazon.

The Teen episode was a fabulous peak into seeing other teens enjoying cooking as much as my students. It actually inspired them to have the Chopped challenge as their final for the year.

We love watching Chopped. We learn about new foods and cooking techniques. We enjoy meeting the competitors and hearing our favorite judges weigh in. (And I don't even like to cook.)
