The Modell's episode was subtle - showing the CEO's life style vs. his employees was a real eye opener. Meanwhile, his employees aren't sleeping, working insanely in a way that this guy couldn't even begin to do because he's 150 lbs overweight. And, the employees are homeless or living with a huge number of family members because this fool hasn't made the leap from the numbers in his spreadsheet to the human consequences. The guy could house the entire families of three stores in the palace in Alpine, NJ. But that does make him a serious welfare queen. His employees are on public assistance because he doesn't pay a living wage. Promoting a few does not solve the problem.

That is what makes this series great - showing what's really going on. And to Mr. Modell's credit, he was willing to admit the errors of his ways. What's missing is the series creators going back to him 6 or 12 months later to see if he has made profound change. Like paying a living wage across the board. Or being willing to have a slightly less profitable but more humane firm. He could - the company is privately held. But did he? Did he make personal change himself to get in shape and help his clearly overweight kids? Did the series creators really effect change? That's what I want to know before I go back and shop at Modell's.

Interesting, but the creators don't go far enough.

The idea is great but you can tell since every time they interview the boss with a past problem that is what he encounters. I love the idea and the show is good but why not see what is really there and not make it a soap opera

I love this franchise. It's great to know it's run by a real person who knows what it is to lose everything. I think this explains his wonderful generosity. Keep up the good works and keep the burgers coming!
